This service is designed for the organization that has a need for counsel but is not presently preparing for or embarking upon a planning/feasibility study, capital campaign or major re-casting of its annual fund programs. Cunneen directors can augment existing staff to assist on a special project and can serve as support and sounding boards or guideposts throughout the development year. Most general counsel relationships entail a director spending between one and three days per month at the client sight and maintaining weekly phone contact. Typical general counsel activities include strategic planning, case statement drafting and review, letter writing and editing, as well as advance preparation for a planning or feasibility study.
All general fundraising counsel relationships are created in partnership with the client organization. The service is designed to be affordable, flexible and can expand or contract as needed.
