Mr. Cunneen has served as Executive Vice President since 1998 after having been promoted from his role as Appeal Director for the New England Region. Mr. Cunneen began his tenure with the firm in 1991 upon completing his B.A in Business Administration from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts with a concentration in Marketing and Finance. During the years Mr. Cunneen held the appeal director position, he was responsible for the sale, management and direction of more than seventy-five Capital and Stewardship Campaigns throughout the New England Region.

In 1998, upon his promotion to Executive Vice President Mr. Cunneen assumed shared management responsibilities for the On-Site Capital Campaign Division of the firm and has hired, trained and managed a staff of professional fundraising consultants. In this capacity John has supervised over one hundred and forty-five resident directed campaigns. Campaigns under his supervision have raised in excess of seventy million dollars. Mr. Cunneen also shares sales management responsibilities with the company president and is responsible for overseeing the New England, Western New York and Southern Regions of the country. He spends considerable time visiting with clients and prospective customers throughout the country.

In Mr. Cunneen's capacity as Executive Director he has written, reviewed, approved and edited hundreds of campaign brochures, training manuals, letters, and other campaign related publications. He designed, wrote copy for and managed the successful launch of the company's Web sites: CunneenFundraising.com, PledgeRedemption.com and CunneenCompany.com. Under John's administration, these Web sites provide Cunneen Fundraising with the most expansive on-line presence in the industry.

Mr. Cunneen is the author of Cunneen's Pledge Redemption Manual as well as the Stewardship guidebook, "A Practical Guide to Stewardship in Today's Catholic Church" presently being used in hundreds of Catholic parishes across the country. Mr. Cunneen has also authored a seminar series exploring the topic of Stewardship in today's Catholic parish. This series has been presented to several hundred religious communities across the country.

Mr. Cunneen's derives great personal enjoyment from his family that includes his wife Cheryl as well as a very close relationship with his parents, two brothers and a burgeoning number of nieces and nephews. Mr. Cunneen is an avid reader, skier and offshore fisherman. On holiday John and Cheryl can be found enjoying international travel that brings them to many of the worlds religious and historical wonders.
